A native of Prospect Heights, Savitri’s connection with real estate was forged early on being raised in a family of landlords and developers. After graduating from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts she moved to Seattle, WA and bought her first home at age 22. Inspired by her family’s knowledge and success, Savitri began investing in and selling real estate in Seattle, quickly becoming a top producer. After realizing that she could raise the bar in the level of service offered to her clients, she opened her own real estate brokerage in 2006.

Genuinely passionate about helping people, Savitri is a devoted mother of twins who is active in the PTA. She dedicates her time and service to her family, her community, and her clients. Deeply connected to the arts community through her love of acting, Savitri previously served on the board of SONYA – South of the Navy Yard Artists.

Savitri returned to Brooklyn in 2010 and is now based in Clinton Hill. After working at one of the top real estate firms in the city, Savitri launched her own brokerage in order to again reach new heights and to continue working with clientele who seek her local expertise. She particularly enjoys working with clients who are searching for a neighborhood that reflects their lifestyle or investment goals, those who seek a broker who will properly price, market, and sell their home quickly, or those who are relocating from out of town.

Licensed as Savitri L Richardson

My name is Thomas F Wright Jr. and I am a realtor/associate broker at Savitri Lela Richardson Real Estate, LLC (SLR) licensed in New York, as well as the broker/owner of Wright Real Estate Services, LLC licensed in Ohio. I was named after my father who said “you can can be successful in real estate in any economy”. My firm in OH concentrates on large multi-family acquisitions and sales in addition to small office building acquisitions and sales. The OH firm also has a property management division with 70 units and is growing monthly. In New York I plan to work with investors looking to purchase and hold single and multi-family buildings in Brooklyn and Manhattan. I also will work with investors looking to buy-low, rehab, and then sell for a profit. I bring 16 years of experience in the field of real estate as a new associate broker at SLR. Throughout my career I have had extensive opportunities to work with investors, list properties for banks and other lending institutions, and practice property valuation by banking standards. I also have an Associates Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management. As a commercial broker I helped clients secure long-term investments during the worst economy in decades, while also having one of the most productive years of my career. All of this also occurred in a city that ranked in the top 5 worst real estate markets in the country for foreclosure. When over a third of the licensees in the state were putting their licenses in escrow, I was starting my own firm. I have relationships with national banks and lenders that trust me to list and sell their REO assets. I’m looking forward to jumping in and replicating that success here in Brooklyn.
