Maria R. Montanez
A native of Caracas Venezuela, Maria is passionate about art, nature, human and animal rights and world culture. She moved to the United States in 1995 after spending 10 years in Europe, specifically Spain and Italy. She finished studying International Art and Language in Italy where she learned about the world of marble and how to install in commercial, small houses and mansions in Milan.
She lived in Florida for 15 years and had the opportunity to work in the same company as her husband in Palm Beach with an architect and designers where she learned the art of decorating-staging. She learned the art of combining materials, furniture, colors and textures for different environments, starting as an assistant.
She has lived in Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn for 7 years with her husband and two daughters. Happy to live in New York, Maria describes it as a city of extraordinary mixtures of cultures, colors and fashion. She started her small business for organizing services and staging-decoration for commercial real estate companies and private residents. She has many satisfied clients and a great reputation for her ability to understand their taste and share ideas.
She is also focused on educating children from Pre-K to 5th grade in art, and is also a dedicated jewelry designer.
